Whole Music opened its second location in Amesbury, MA, in 2010. A perfect compliment to the original studio in Byfield, our Amesbury facility is primarily a teaching studio.
Whole Music offers private, semi-private and group instruction in both Amesbury and Byfield. Both studios offer spacious and comfortable teaching rooms.

Formerly known as Pine Island Music, Whole Music offers quality music instruction and development as it has over the past 30 years. Owned, operated and directed by EJ Ouellette, Whole Music is located on the North Shore of Boston in Newbury, and now Amesbury, Mass. The downtown Amesbury location at 21 Water Street in the Carriage Mill Building is easy to find and has parking directly across the street. The studio includes 2000 square feet of beauty in a lovely, historic building.
Whole Music’s approach to music education is based on EJ Ouellette’s long-held philosophy that all of us possess innate musical talent. With the right approach, anyone can develop their musical skills.
EJ Ouellette is an experienced and multi-instrumental professional musician with a long-standing reputation for inspiring confidence and success. Teaching, performing and producing consistently over the past three decades, EJ has motivated more than 12,000 students.
Unlike other teachers, EJ’s insight, intuition and understanding of the learning process enable him to relate to the whole person and identify key areas for skill advancement and improvement. Other Whole Music instructors share this philosophy and approach, and most have been trained and directed by EJ.

Whole Music offers its annual Summer Jam™ program, as it did under Pine Island Music, each summer. Summer Jam™ is one week of playing music, learning, recording a CD and performing.
